The best way to see Dubai!

The Burj Khalifa tour was a great way to see Dubai! The view from the tower was amazing. I saw the desert, the city, and the sea on the other side, and it was just really cool to be in the tallest building in the world. Our guide told us a lot of interesting stories and answered everyone's questions. I was really interested in learning how the artificial islands were made. We also loved visiting a traditional market. This was a great tour!

John
Professional guide and great tour!

This tour exceeded my expectations, mostly because of our guide, who was friendly and taught me and my husband a lot about Dubai's culture. We enjoyed the view from the Burj Khalifa a lot. I definitely recommend going! Another great thing is that we got to visit other places after the Burj Khalifa. Also, pick-up and everything was on time, and overall, the guide had a very professional attitude. Highly recommended tour!

DESCRIPTION

Burj Khalifa Small-group Guided Tour

VISIT THE ICONIC BURJ KHALIFA

Visit the Burj Khalifa - the world’s tallest building, also holding records for the tallest free-standing structure and the highest occupied floor. It broke many records when it was opened in 2010 and measures 828 m (2,717 ft). Its name simply means "Khalifa Tower", and it was named in honor of Abu Dhabi's leader, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

ENJOY THE VIEW FROM HIGH UP

Take the elevator to the 124th floor to enjoy the best views in the city! You can see the Dubai Fountain on Burj Lake, the world’s largest choreographed fountain, with a show that includes music, lights, and water. When it's on, more than 80,000 liters of water can be in the air! You can also see the Dubai Mall, Burj Al Arab, a hotel that looks like the sail of a ship, and Palm Jumeirah, an artificial archipelago shaped like a palm tree. Take a look through one of the high-powered telescopes to get a better view.

MODERN AND TRADITIONAL DUBAI MEET

After Burj Khalifa, visit Souk Madinat, which is located close to the Burj Al Arab. It was built to look like an old Arabian town, where you can enjoy a bazaar experience with many stalls and buy a souvenir to take home. Take a traditional water taxi across Dubai Creek, which was traditionally used as a port for trade. The abra water taxi will take you across Dubai Creek to the traditional gold and spice souks in Deira. You can also learn about the city's culture and history at the Dubai Museum, set in the Al Fahidi Fort, Dubai’s oldest existing building, dating back to around 1787. There, you can learn about the Bedouin people's life from 3,000 BC to now. The Burj Khalifa Small-Group Tour is perfect for discovering both modern and traditional sides of Dubai.

Interesting facts about the Burj Khalifa

  • The local Hymenocallis flower inspired Burj Khalifa's floor plan.
  • There are more than 26,000 glass panels on the outside, all hand-cut!
  • Burj Khalifa’s water system supplies around 946,000 liters (about 250,000 gallons) of water daily.
  • A lot of condensation is created at the Burj Khalifa due to the city's hot climate and the tower's cooling. The condensed water is collected and stored in a tank. About 56 million liters (15 million gallons) are collected every year!
  • At peak cooling, the system requires about 10,000 tons of cooling capacity — equivalent to melting 10,000 tons of ice per day.
